Senior Vs Junior? OCC Returns to Televison

Father and Son Teutel in the early years

If you’re one of those Orange County Chopper haters and celebrated when TLC announced the end of the show, then we’ve got some bad news for you.  They’re baaaacccckkkk!

Yes, as much as you hate to hear it, The Learning Channel is beginning production on a new reality (if you want to call it that) show that will feature the head to head competition between the original shop, Orange County Choppers and his son’s new shop, Paul Jr. Designs, which is located near the site of the original shop in Rock Tavern NY.

According to published reports, the pair haven’t spoken in over a year since the tift which caused Sr. to fire his son from the family business.  The pair are embroiled in a lawsuit in which the father is demanding return of 20% of the business from Junior.

Executive producer Christo Doyle told the Post, “This is a very bitter situation that runs really deep — at times I feel I’m a family therapist and not a producer.”

For his part, Paul Jr says he’d like a reconciliation.  Paulie is quoted in the NY Post as saying, “I’m always hopeful for a reconciliation, but sometimes these things happen for a reason.”

Forgive us for thinking the reason may have more to do with a dip in the ratings than a 20% slice of the pie.

  1. both of you are acting like asses, imageine if you just plain didnt have ea other, your a family and from what ive seen youve had some really good times,as well as ea. othersome of us just arent that lucky, to have family anymore and i do miss them

  2. The whole thing is a bad situation. Family should stand behind each other no matter what. I think the separation between Sr and Jr needed to happen. It was just handled wrong. They should have been respectful of each others felling and parted as friends as well as father and son. Jr is a ungrateful, whinny brat and Sr is not acting like a father at all.

  3. I’m on Senior’s side in this rift. His kids (involved in the motorcycle biz), Paul Jr. and Mikey, are ungrateful. The old man built the business with Paul Jr’s help but Mikey never did $h*t but collect a check. Junior worked it like a part-time job, coming and going when he pleased, leaving the burden to meet deadlines on the shoulders of salaried, non-relative employees. I don’t think that Paul Jr Designs is ever going to make it off the ground. He has skills as a motorcycle builder but his fiancee and other hangers on (a hot blonde) will drag down the overall operation.

One big thing that must be fall squarely on the shoulders of Paul Sr: his kids should have had their butts kicked harder and more forcefully during their formative years.

  4. I watched the show, and I must say that Paul Sr’s behaviour is sickening! He’s a spoiled brat, in my opinion. All he can say, it seems, is “I haven’t seen him build a bike, yet”. Well……..DUH!!!!!!!! He has to get his shop outfitted first, doesn’t he, you moron???
I wish Paulie Jr. the best of luck with his shop and his upcoming marriage! It’s too bad Sr. has to be the inkblot on the whole situation.
By the way, Sr………that bike you built last night……BUTT ugly!!!

  5. I watched and what I see sickens me, Senior DAD UP as I watch you it sickens me, I would never gloat as my child Struggled. You are only worried about the I told you so.

Pauly I wish you well and hope that now that it is on you, that you will put the time and effort in needed to be the competetor.

None of this is worth the price you are paying, I can say at the end of the Day if I lived in a cardboard box but had family I would be rich.
