Drew Peterson

Drew Peterson, the former Bolingbrook, Ill. police officer who gained national notoriety when investigators arrested him for First Degree murder in the 2004 death of his third wife, after the Oct. 28, 2007 disappearance of his fourth wife, Stacy Peterson has put his 2007 HD Softail on EBAY for $50,000.  The original MSRP for the bike  $24,995.00.

Offering to autograph the bike, Peterson, believes the national media attention has given him celebrity status which should boost the value of the bike $40k more than than would otherwise be the case.

Peterson’s third wife, Kathleen Savio, was found drowned in the bathtub of her home just weeks before the couple’s divorce settlement was to be finalized.  His fourth wife Stacy Peterson has never been found, but the former police Sargent has not been charged in her disappearance.

According to the Chicago Tribune, Peterson told the court that he will need close to $50,000 for his upcoming June trial.  He is currently in jail under a $4 million dollar bond.
