BRP Recalls 1200 Roadsters for clutch problems

BRP is recalling certain model year 2010 SPYDER RS SE5 2ND SERIES AND RT SE5 ROADSTERS, for potential problems with the automatic transmission.  When stopping the models equipped with the SE% semi-automatic transmission, the clutch may remain engaged, stalling the engine.  Once that happens it could be impossible to re-start the vehicle which would lock the rear wheel and render it unable to be pushed off the roadway which could result in a rear end collision. BRP will notify owners and dealers will repair the vehicles free of charge.  BRP has not yet notified NHTSA with a notification schedule. Owners mayy contact BRP AT 1-888-638-5397
