FYI in New York the cops are writing tickets for bootleg DOT stickers and have been known to confiscate the bike for using a vehicle in the commission of a crime. They also are starting to ticket loud pipes. WTF?!!!!!!

The thing is, Gerogia law states that motorcycle riders must wear head protection. But nowhere does it state what standard the head protection has to meet. Or what it has to protect your head from.

All this is is another way to produce revenue, look at all the other states that do not have helmet laws and death tolls are down, if I see a sign that tells motorcycle riders to pull into a check point I will not be pulling in I don't have to take a piss at the moment and they can go fuck them selves the next thing they will want is for all motorcycle to be equipped with seat belts even though at time we need them for the passenger, why should we be singled out for stupid shit, I will be putting a DOT sign on the back of my skid lid and let them show me the guide lines for a DOT approved helmet and where it states the regulation of the approved guide lines for DOT approved helmets. Choices are made by the individual you want to wear a full face helmet,a half shell with all the padding to jump from an airplane be my guest, if you choose not to where a helmet good for you, America the home of the free, BULSHIT. Make your own choice and don't make me abide by it.

I totally agree. We do the same thing. At least we are honest. There should be more motorcycle awareness. People pull out in front of us all the time. And endanger our lives. Maybe they should be looking at the people in cars, trucks that don't know how to drive.
