I think all bike rallies are named and immediately become public domain. If you want to make a re-occurring logo (like Tom's T's in Sturgis) license that and make your money. Has HD licensed the eagle for everything motorcycle? Does Yamaha own the capital V because of their V-Star? Let's not even try this with a V-Twin engine. As bikers we will spend money on what we like. As business owners some want sole ownership of something to make every dime. As buyers we decide what we think reflects our interests in motorcycling. Maybe souveniers will be pictures and not manufactured goods.
