Not to excuse Mr. Graber here but I have to wonder if this had happened here in FL if something worse could have happened. Here we have a stand your ground law that allows you to defend yourself if you feel threatened without the threat of being prosecuted for murder. In the officers delay to identify himself as such , had Mr. Garber potentially reached for his own weapon and defended himself by shooting and killing the unidentified officer he would have been justified. In my opinion the cop was no less reckless and an endangerment to those around him as was Mr. Garber. Unfortunately this is becoming more and more common in the ranks of law enforcement.

So he was riding reckless. I guess speeding or illegal lane changing. If someone cuts me off (stops in front after and exit and blocks my way) I would suspect road rage. Perhaps police see this as a liability situation and want to spin the traffic stop into a high speed chase of a dangerous motorcyclist. I do not think every sport biker is a dangerous rider. Some cruisers are liberial with their controls and positioning while riding.
