I've been e-mailing complaints to Little Sturgis Rally for years about how it was run. First of all, it was run in a dry county & didn't tell you that on their website. First-timers didn't know this, & arrived assuming they had beer stands at the rally. Then when they discovered "no beer", they left & went to the next county to buy booze, & wait in at least 3 hrs of traffic to get back in. Some motorists, in all that waiting, were getting pretty thirsty & started drinking, then got nailed with DUI – revenue enhancement for local law enforcement! Not to mention what become of their abandoned campsite. Second, motorcycles are the only vehicles allowed to leave the grounds & return, or you would be forced to park in the field by the gate & have to walk & carry stuff to your campsite. They didn't tell you that ahead of time either. That event was a case of "You won't know the rules until you break them!" Yes, both happened to me! That's why I quit going. It was a joke for first-timers!!

The rally's suck, I quit going to rally's last year. Too much trailer trash, cost to much, bands suck, and its not one rally its all. If you want to enjoy SD Sturgis go there 2-3 weeks before the rally still alot of bikes and not as expensive. Little Sturgis used to be the best have been 10 years straight until last year. Quit going because of all the trailer trash It turned in to a a week RV camp out and party. Its the age old story they want our money then they run us out of town. Bikers have been run out of our own rally's by lawyers. If you want to enjoy motorcycle rally's catch them when they are small before the grow up and the lawyers and chamber of commerce take over. There are still a few out there. I would tell you where they are at but that would make the rally bigger and you lawyers reading this would start coming and take it over and by the way Nice Trailer P_ _ _ _ _.

I agree with Tony, last year sucked anyway. I've been going for 16 yrs and it was good in the day. Then the punks who never did a burnout before got liquored up and ran over people causing lawsuits and rising insurance cost. Some drunk fell off the wagon and sued the rally and won couple years ago. I doubt he even owned a bike. They stopped the burnouts, they even told women last year to put their tops back on, give me a break! Don't know if the increase in RV fees was greed, or a way to keep some out. I miss the old days when real bikers roamed the Rallies and highways in this country. As far as Sturgis SD Rally goes…the Yuppies and RUBS can have it!

all the rallys are about money now. get rid of the trailor trash that don't really ride, and the rallys will go back to what tey are supposed to be. motorcycle rallys.
i can remember going to a rally and the only people driving were there as support vehicles.
now you get a bunch of wanna be's that own bikes. not ride them. and tourist. that want to go because they can act like idiots. glad to see these money hungury fools fo down in flames. now if we can just get rid of the reason behind rallys that have gone over to greed.

Anytime the lawyers get involved the money will end up in their pockets. One Chamber of Commerce suing another because Little Sturgis is supposedly stealing Sturgis SD's thunder? What a load of bs. It's about the greedy types thinking they can get just a little more. Then, in swoop the lawyers.
