Kuryakyn Acquires MotoCentric

logoSomerset, WI February 21st, 2013 – Küryakyn Holdings LLC announced the acquisition of Moto Centric, a leader in the motorcycle luggage market.

MotoCentric is a motorcycle accessories company most known for their industry leading line of street bike and cruiser luggage.   The acquisition adds to Küryakyn’s expanding product offerings. MotoCentric’s base of operations will be relocated from Texas to the Küryakyn Headquarters in Somerset, WI.

Lehman Trikes, Klock Werks, and Prugh Design Announce “S.D.C.”

Lehman Trikes, Klock Werks Kustom Cycles, and Prugh Design, all based in South Dakota, announced today they have signed a letter of intent to collaborate on the design, manufacture, and badging of a custom trike tentatively scheduled to roll out at the American V-Twin Dealer Show in Indianapolis, February 2012. The new custom trike, the “S.D.C.” will showcase the design and manufacture prowess of the three companies.

Stated Ken Hines, President and CEO of Lehman Trikes, “Discussions about working together on a custom trike began last year, but schedules between all three companies have conflicted until recently. We are very excited about this new venture and anxious to get to the drawing board!”

Combining styling, design, manufacturing, and distribution, the three companies create the perfect team to bring a unique product to the trike industry.

Michael Prugh of Prugh Design, a full-service and innovative design company, has already collaborated with Lehman on designing the body styling on Lehman’s latest trikes: The CrossBow powered by the Victory Vision and the very successful Storm for the Kawasaki Vulcan 900. “We are really looking forward to working with Lehman and Klock Werks and bringing a forward-thinking, unique trike to fruition”, stated Michael.

Known worldwide for their innovative custom building and accessories for motorcycles, Brian Klock of Klock Werks Kustom Cycles said, “This exciting new partnership will emphasize our commitment to supplying new and exciting products to the motorcycle industry.  As the trike industry continues to rapidly expand, there are great opportunities for us to work together well into the future”.

Once unveiled in 2012, the custom trike will be manufactured by Lehman Trikes and distributed through Lehman Trikes dealer network.
