Rumble for Kids in Georgia

The Georgia Faith Riders organization and Great South Harley Davidson in Newnan are supporting, “Rumble for Kids,” a motorcycle ride benefiting the Palmetto, Ga.-based Georgia Baptist Children’s Homes on May 21.

The ride will start at Great South Harley Davidson, located at 185 E. Hwy. 16 south of Newnan, and ends at the Meansville Campus where lunch will be served.

Registration begins at 9 a.m. with the ride beginning at 10:45 a.m. Registration is $25 for a single rider and $35 for a rider with a passenger. Lunch will be served and is included in registration fee. For more information call 770-463-3800.

Since 1872, Georgia Baptist Children’s Home has been reaching out to hurting children and broken families. 93 Year Old Kills Pregnant Motorcyclist; $375 Fine

A 93-year-old Oberon North Dakota woman who was driving a vehicle that struck two motorcycles, this past summer, resulting in the death of a pregnant woman, has been sentenced for misdemeanor driving charges Tuesday November 30th. The Ramsey County State’s Attorney, Lonnie Olson, said Faith Mitzel was ordered to pay $375 in fines. She will also face 60 days in jail if she commits a crime within the next two years.
